ABSTRACT
It’s a very mixed town. It’s very old. And then there’s the very new. There’s a mixture of people living here. There’s the new shopping, the old shopping, the new houses, the old houses. It’s certainly got a history. You’ve got the silk history. I don’t know whether it’s still going, but it goes back a long way. It’s unusual in that respect. Parts of it are very cramped, and others are open, and country as well. It’s unusual in that. It’s quite a varied town.
