Bill’s story unfolded differently. His marriage ended in the mid1980s. It lacked more than passion. It lacked the kind of intimacy he needed to feel loved and to love: the intimacy of a man. The end of his marriage triggered a decision to reconsider the place of homosexuality in his life.
