ABSTRACT

As described in the previous four chapters, individual counseling, parent training, and family therapy can be helpful to address many of the common core and secondary problems associated with attention deficit/ hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Common skills that are deficient in boys, male teens, and men with ADHD can be taught using psychoeducational and cognitive-behavioral methods, and those skills can be instrumental in improving functioning at home, in school, and in the workplace.
