ABSTRACT
The basic structure for any program in global education involves courses and programs available to, in some cases required of, undergraduates. Curriculum is not, of course, the primary province of higher education administrators. Nevertheless, curricular innovations are an administrative as well as a faculty issue, even as primacy properly lies with the faculty. Furthermore, knowledge of curricular options and the exciting developments in global coursework is a precondition for sensible treatment of the more specialized features of global education, such as study abroad. Inevitably, discussion of curricular options involves a host of elements, and could easily generate a larger study. Still, some of the main lines are emerging clearly, at least for the moment.
