ABSTRACT
Th is population on the whole is very aware of the lack of research related to transgender and is very supportive of it, as they themselves want better answers to help them understand their condition. Th ose who “donated” their information to this endeavor said they were happy to make this contribution, especially when they felt confi dent that their identities would not be revealed. Great care was taken to ensure a high level of privacy protection. Later in this chapter, I will say more about how this was done.
