ABSTRACT
Architectural drawings are not traits of ideas, or operational fictions; neither are they empirical givens. They do not set constitutive or transcendental categories; or expressions of syntax, or language games, not even abstractions from ideas of order. Architectural drawings are forms of being, expressions of complex states of mind and experience. More precisely, the drawings that architects produce are fragments derived from a multiplicity of thought and serve varied epistemological functions.
