ABSTRACT
The TLRP was exceptional in requesting that every project in the programme set out its plans for engaging research users. We have outlined the different ways this was tackled in the models we discussed in Chapter 2. In this chapter, we examine in more detail why and how researchers and field-based practitioners collaborate in research.
