ABSTRACT
This chapter is an illustration of metaphysical questions being dissolved by the Davidsonian truth-maker-free account of truth and predication. Whereas a Davidsonian is committed to there being something to say about modalities and the nature of propositions, properties, and facts, puzzles about time are different. One puzzle about time seems to be purely an artifact of the truth-maker theory of truth. Another puzzle, about the possibility of enduring objects, seems to rest on taking properties to be metaphysical attachments rather than things said of objects.
