ABSTRACT
Community resiliency is the topic of the moment, given current
economic conditions. It implies the ability to be resilient in the face
of challenges. From the Latin word, resallive, it literally means to
spring back. It also has deeper meaning; the Community and
Regional Resilience Institute points out the following characteristics
of resiliency:2
• Attribute: resilience is an attribute of the community.
