ABSTRACT
As in earlier chapters, you are invited to explore these concepts as a benchmarking
exercise, using your working definitions (Exercise 8.1).
In the previous chapter, business strategy was shown to have retained assumptions drawing
on the DRM. In this chapter dilemmas of power and diversity are examined. These
concepts and their dilemmas have not been easily addressed through approaches based on
the DRM. Here we draw on alternative approaches. We concentrate on critical theory, and
show its relationship to approaches developed within the related map of postmodernism.
