Nuclear energy policy: case study 2: the ethics of using nuclear energy

This chapter looks at the Japanese government’s nuclear energy policy, with a focus on its ethical component. Although scholars and researchers have debated the political, economic and militaristic aspects of the policy, there have been fewer inquiries into its moral features, including its potential to harm the environment.
