ABSTRACT
The last causal factor identified by Law and Rimmer is delinquency. Cole, Visser and Upton (1998) argue that schools for children with emotional difficulties straddle the divide between EBD and delinquency. In their view delinquency is a subjective label attached to children, which is largely dependent on the views and the terminology of the agency dealing with them.
