ABSTRACT
The stories in this book suggest that inclusion is many things to many people in many different contexts. Among the mother-teachers there is diversity of opinion. While they share certain experiences, they are far from being a homogeneous group. But what I feel emerges from the stories is the overwhelming notion that within the grand scale of things, individuals matter, at every level and in every context. Individual professionals make a difference to children and their families, particularly their mothers.
