ABSTRACT
This chapter contains a variety of tips to help pupils whose behaviour in the classroom is proving unacceptable. All too often pupils with special needs are assumed to have problematic behaviour simply because their needs are different, and this is not automatically the case. However, some forms of special needs tend to be linked with behavioural problems, and this chapter offers suggestions on how these can best be managed.
