ABSTRACT
The modern Islamic movement is both a religious and a socio-political revival and the Islamic mission takes a special place in this movement.
Modern Muslim missionary activity comprises the following tasks: propaganda for Islamic cultural values, for the Muslim way of life, and for Islamic moral standards. It also involves the struggle against the penetration of Western ideas into Muslim countries and defence of the rights of the Palestinians. Depending on different circumstances and situations the tasks of the mission vary.
