ABSTRACT
Even though I retired in 1999, I'm still so close to my professional experiences that it's difficult to gain much perspective. It is like trying to look at a forest when it is difficult to see more than a few trees. Also, each time I try to write a part of my history it is like looking at a kaleidoscope I've looked at many times before. Each time I look, the same crystals and marbles are there, with a few pebbles mixed in, but the patterns and overall picture are different. So, this is an attempt to describe some of the things I see this time in an ever-changing picture.
