ABSTRACT
Penny is a middle-aged Christian woman who for nearly a decade has struggled with migraine headaches. She is married, has four children, and is a housewife. This chapter tells her story, focusing on a horrendous three-week period during which she was completely incapacitated with severe, recurrent headaches. The discussion will focus on how she felt and how it affected her activity, family, and spiritual life. Many of those who suffer from headaches will see similarities to their own stories in the pages ahead.
