ABSTRACT
Having examined the problematic and some overall requirements and facets for the task of weaving the future, we now move on to specific proposals for the redesign of governance. Since it is impossible to treat the subject comprehensively, the proposals concentrate on levels and aspects of governing capacities that are most significant for future-building. How to overcome serious inadequacies and upgrade essential capacities with the help of 'leverage factors' - this is the challenge to which the redesign proposals are directed.
