ABSTRACT
In 1975 ISKCON made a strong effort to mobilise support from Indian Hindus living in London to help save their temple, which was under threat of closure from the local planning authority. A leaflet was circulated which said:
Return Religious and Racial Tolerance to Britain
Save this place of worship now!
