ABSTRACT
This book is an attempt to model the Polish economy so that we can analyse some of the effects of some of the financial reforms introduced since 1990. While there is a great deal of interest in this area and there is some work which purports to study this question, the fact is that there is no full-scale study which looks at the impact of many of the reforms in any kind of a unified framework. We have tried to fill this gap to some extent. The basic approach of this study and its major findings can be summarized as follows.
