ABSTRACT
Yurddash subscribed to a domestic agenda of nationalism, rule of law and democracy but established its reputation mainly on the basis of its international agenda, particularly its efforts to promote the interests of its compatriots in Russia, Iran and Armenia. It advocated preservation of Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and opposed territorial compromise with Armenia.
