ABSTRACT
Since the early 1900s, the Rochester region has been the home of large, transnational corporations in two inter-related industries: optics and imaging and photographic equipment and supplies. The large firms in the region are prominent household names including Eastman Kodak, Xerox, Corning, and Bausch and Lomb.1
