ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION This unit builds on the content of the other motorsport units and it is suggested that it is studied concurrently with them. The unit is laid out for the student to use in conjunction with the IMI Data Collection Sheets, with suggested notes for each sheet data collection sheets. The choice of vehicle to inspect will depend on your specifi c area of interest, Kart, Single Seater, Saloon or Rally Car; and the availability of vehicles. The wider the range of vehicles that you can use when training, the wider and more varied will be your experience and employability. Of course you may choose to specialise at an early stage. Both approaches have advantages.
