ABSTRACT
Though sound vibrations are usually transmitted through the air, it may be stretching a point to include these with air pollution. But when vibration causes a delicate object to shake to the extent that its vibration can be felt by touch one hardly needs experimental proof that we have here another undesirable kind of pollution. Such vibration can be caused by building work, traffic and even heating and ventilating equipment.
