SB is today a major global enterprise and the world's fifth largest healthcare company, with approximately £7 billion in sales. It is organized into three divisions - Pharmaceuticals, Consumer Healthcare and Healthcare Services. SB's overall business is to discover, develop, manufacture and market pharmaceutical products, vaccines, over-the-counter (OTC) medicines and health-related consumer products, and to provide healthcare services including clinical laboratory testing, disease-management and pharmaceutical benefit management.
