ABSTRACT

The dimmer patch must be worked out to identify the control channel and lamps connected to each of the dimmers. The lamps are identified according to the code of the cable that connects the lamp to the dimmers. The circuit code identifies the position of the lamps on the grid. In some circumstances the position of a lamp does not lend itself to standard coding, necessitating special circuit codes. A standard code can be used for identifying the circuits of a lighting system.
