ABSTRACT
All drapes must be fireproofed and are required by law to be labeled with the date and method of fire retardation. The drapes should have their size marked on them and on the center position. Be careful when handling drapes because they are very delicate. The drapes should be the last thing added to the grid before it is hoisted to its operating height. Keep the drapes tied up and out of the way until it is necessary to lower them for focusing once the stage has been set.
