ABSTRACT
As time passes, ever more sophisticated methodologies are required to support the continued advancements in our technical and business environments. One method of “creating” more sophisticated methodologies is to combine separate proven and complimentary methods into “new” tool sets. This chapter discusses the powerful combinations of TRIZ with other popular analysis tools. Specifically, we will discuss the powerful combinations of TRIZ and Six Sigma (Section 16.2 and 16.3), TRIZ and QFD (Section 16.4), TRIZ and TOC (Section 16.5), and TRIZ and Lean (Section 16.6).
