ABSTRACT
At the beginning of conditioning a seed lot, each separator used should be set to have the approximate adjustments determined by pre-evaluation of samples as being the best to obtain the desired complete separation. As soon as the cleaning/separating begins, evaluate the separation made by each machine for complete removal of the desired undesirable particles/seed. Make required minor (or major!) changes in adjustments to achieve the complete desired separations.
