From rationale to method: relationships, ethics and accountability

In the previous chapter, I explored the ideas and thinking that have informed my approach to research. In this chapter, I describe the development of an approach to narrative inquiry that draws on those underlying concepts. I do not offer a prescriptive method here that is clear and uncomplicated; rather, I show how the process was not simply a matter of the straightforward application of existing methods but one of evolution and adaptation to context and circumstances.
