ABSTRACT

For the cone-type axisymmetric 3D origami, the crease pattern inscribes in a regular polygon and the folded shape also has its bottom inscribed in a regular polygon. So, by connecting multiple crease patterns, you can make a state of multiple connected solids from one sheet. The cylinder type can be connected vertically, as explained in Section 2.1. The cone type can be connected horizontally to tile on a plane, regardless of whether the pleat shape is flat or 3D.
