ABSTRACT
Much of the new distribution is underground. Underground distribution is much more hidden from view than overhead circuits, and is more reliable. Cables, connectors, and installation equipment have advanced considerably in the last quarter of the twentieth century, making underground distribution installations faster and less expensive.
