Convection Heat Transfer in Flows Past Immersed Bodies

In this chapter, we will examine a number of problems in which a fluid stream moves relative to a body. The fluid and the body-surface temperatures will be different, so a net energy transfer will take place. The objective is to determine the parameters that influence the energy transfer and to calculate the actual quantity of heat transferred.
