ABSTRACT
Infinite series occur very frequently in all types of problems, and hence the study of their convergence or divergence is of fundamental importance. Unless a series employed in an investigation is convergent, it may lead to absurd conclusions. Therefore, in this and the next chapters we shall provide several easily verifiable tests which guarantee the convergence or divergence of a given series.
