ABSTRACT
Nowadays, general-purpose performance models for products like pumps, servomotors or spindles are developed based on theory, experience or under laboratory conditions because there is no way of knowing exactly where they will be installed and which will be their specific operating conditions. Besides, these types of products are developed to work under a wide range of operating conditions where performance is defined as nominal behavior.
