ABSTRACT
In the current manufacturing era, there is hardly any aspect of customer life that is untouched by the applications of AM technology. Though its initial use was restricted to prototype production, today AM has emerged as a full-fledged technology and has a broad spectrum of applications in direct and indirect prototyping, as well as tooling and manufacturing. It is gaining importance in various sectors of business as well as in the daily life of consumers.
