ABSTRACT

In many ways this book is probably unique insofar as it is written to offer the reader an opportunity to experience and to appreciate, through dialogue, some of the diverse and challenging issues that can arise when working with a young person who has had, and is struggling with, life in the teenage zone. It is composed of dialogues between fictitious clients and their counsellors, and between the counsellors and their supervisors. Within the dialogues are woven the reflective thoughts and feelings of the client, the counsellor and the supervisor.
