ABSTRACT
Avian renal disease is a frequently diagnosed but often poorly understood problem in birds. It is associated with multiple diseases and has many causes. Understanding the mechanisms of renal disease, the possible aetiologies, and the effects on other parts of the body will assist the clinician with both its diagnosis and treatment.
