ABSTRACT
In Chapter 6, the flutter phenomenon was treated in a very simple fashion, considering the two degrees of freedom model for the wing. However, an aircraft wing is a continuous system with distributed mass and elasticity; moreover, the aerodynamic loading is also distributed over the length of the wing.
