ABSTRACT
Histograms show the distribution of a continuous variable in a diagram similar to a bar graph. They show the distribution of values over a range. The terms used to describe the patterns (or shapes) of histograms are as follows: Symmetric, skewed left, skewed right, bimodal, or multimodal.
