ABSTRACT
Moving goods and people across land and sea and trading goods one culture has in exchange of those of another are activities as old as human culture itself. Trade has taken place in every form of transportation available to humans, from walking to carrying goods on the backs of animals in caravans, to boats and ships, bicycles, cars, trucks, and airplanes.
