Maintaining Equipment

When factory workers and managers use equipment without properly maintaining it (“we’re too busy for that,” they say), they eventually run into a bigger problem: breakdowns and line stoppages. To prevent breakdowns, you must eliminate the three evils of (1) contamination, (2) inadequate lubrication, and (3) misoperation. For best results, get everyone involved in removing these causes of equipment breakdowns.
