ABSTRACT
While the majority of topics covered in this book are central to air pollution, we thought it was appropriate to introduce briefly two related pollution issues which are synonymous with urban traffic and street environments. The first part of this chapter covers noise pollution, which is followed by a discussion on light pollution.
