ABSTRACT
The success or failure of a treatment marsh is contingent upon creating and maintaining correct water depths and flows. In this chapter, the processes that add and subtract water from the wetland are discussed, together with the relationships between flow and depth. Internal water movement in wetlands is a related subject, which is critical to understanding of pollutant reductions.
