ABSTRACT
The treatment of stormwaters of various origins is of growing concern, as attempts to rectify point source pollution reach maturity. Runoff from urban, agricultural and industrial sources comprises a sizeable fraction of the total pollution load to receiving waters in many locations. Often, these sources are relatively dilute compared to primary or secondary domestic sewage, but nevertheless they may negatively impact receiving waters.
