ABSTRACT
This chapter describes the fabrication of surface composites by FSP in detail. Starting from a brief explanation about using FSP to produce a composite, the possible defects in the processed regions, which are generally found in the composites fabricated by FSP and different ways to eliminate those defects, are brought out in detail. Advantages and limitations with FSP to fabricate surface composites compared with the other manufacturing methods are summarized at the end.
