ABSTRACT
Immunoglobulins are transmitted from mother to offspring through the following routes: (1) oocyte-yolk sac epithelium, (2) mammary gland-intestinal epithelium, (3) uterine epithelium-epithelium of the visceral yolk sac, and (4) placental trophoblast.
