ABSTRACT

In this chapter, the reader learns what is important as the project is completed and set for release. Areas covered include evaluating any bugs that were shipped in order to make deadlines, dusting off Blue Sky notes from the beginning of the project to see what was missed, and looking toward the next phase of development. The reader will learn how doing a postmortem with the team that looks at the ups as well as the downs can improve the game building experience for everyone in the company. By the conclusion of the chapter, readers will know what to do with themselves when all the battles have been fought and it's time to celebrate and enjoy the victory of getting the game completed.
