Houses in multiple occupation

This section deals exclusively with houses in multiple occupation, but the Housing Health and Safety Rating System and its enforcement procedures in the previous sections also apply to houses in multiple occupation, except in those cases where the existence of a management order removes it from that procedure. These situations are noted in the text relating to that procedure.
