ABSTRACT
The future policy direction of Supported Housing is unclear at the present time. The Government has stated it is committed to the provision and funding of supported housing and has rolled back on its recent proposals for funding changes following concerns raised by the sector (CIH, 2017; MHCLG, 2018). The sector awaits government proposals regarding value for money and regulation frameworks. This being the case, now is an excellent time to consider the lessons of the past and what these tell us about the potential way forward.
